The
venue is an open-air amphitheater located on the shores of lake Ontario
with a fixed roof that covers the stage and the first 3 sections, which
are, reserved seats. Behind these seats are section 400 (reserved seats)
and general admission lawn seats, these are all uncovered.
....It
is the first time Bowie has played this venue in Toronto. The show was proficiently
recorded by the CBC radio and broadcast in sections over a two Saturday,s
on a show known as "Defiantly Not The Opera. Bowie was reported to
say the recording was so good he used it for all future shows as an example
of how he wanted the mix to sound.
....The
show was a few songs longer than most of his Area 2 concerts because Busta
Rymes could not cross the boarder from the USA due to unknown legal issues.
....Parts
of this show was broadcast on the CBC radio, Canada.
....The
first section was broadcast on October 19 2002 and the second was broadcast
on October 26. unfortunately the broke the show up and only broadcast 11
