COMMENTS: This
is the third and probably the last CD in this series? There are still some
sessions from 1991 and 1996 that could be issued on a fourth volume plus
the BBC show from 05.02.70 (the latter one has probably been omitted since
it only seems to exist in inferior sound quality, and is already available
on several discs?). The major part of this CD is in excellent sound quality,
but the four last songs are only in good quality. It is still a mystery
if there were two sessions in January 1972, or if BBC simply mixed up the
dates and cut one session into two different ones? It doesn't really matter,
but it is a bit frustrating that a major radio company can't be sure of
their recordings! The three discs in this series have the major part of
the songs pulled from a CDR issue with the absolutely best sound quality
ever of the BBC recordings, and the quality can't improve any more, can
it? If you don't have the CDR:s, these three discs are a must! (Disc 1) EMERGED
