COMMENTS: The
first part of this CD is very nice. Nine songs recorded in a studio especially
for BBC. The songs were performed with a minimum of arrangement, and as
a trio. I'm not sure of when these songs were recorded, but they were recorded
for the BBC "Birtday Special" only. Unfortunately, the talk between
the songs has been omitted. The New York songs are from VH-1 Fashion Awards,
and are live versions. The sound quality isn't very good, which is strange
when you consider the source? The Frisco songs are not in the same excellent
sound quality as on the CD FUCK
YOU ALL NIGHT LONG (1997), so I
won't comment them here. Due to the BBC songs, this CD is worth the money! |
